Shift in Focus

Kanonkop District Rover Crew has operated for 3 years without an advancement focus , so this year the focus has now shifted to Crew Advancement. The crew has decided that if we are not growing then we are dying as a Crew so Personal Developement Bar has been set as our own personal challenge. The Chairman of the Crew has discovered that a few of the Rovers has not yet completed their Vigil which is a fundemental part of Rovering , so a big kick in the butt will be needed for those lazy Rovers.
The Kanonkop District Rover Crew Den has been negotiated and terms and agreement has been complied. The Crew will join Durbanville/Kraaifontein Sea Scouts Hall as our base of operations. We have a lot of work to do in terms of moving Dry wall to expand our room but 1st the girl giudes will need to collect their equipement so until the we will have to wait.
