Catapults

 

A catapult is a ballistic device used to launch a projectile a great distance without the aid of explosive devices particularly various types of ancient and medieval siege engines.Although the catapult has been used since ancient times, it has proven to be one of the most effective mechanisms during warfare. Did you know that the term Projectile means that an object that is launched or thrown, usually in the air by a force and that the strongest and most sturdy polygon to use in constructing a base for a catapult is a triangle. A Bulls Eye is a result of Accuracy and Precision. In order for a projectile to travel the furthest distance possible, the launch angle should be at a 45 degree angle. Engineers design and create things that can save peoples' lives , help people communicate and learn and make peoples' lives more fun and enjoyable.
